Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ev'rything Woodworks LLC website at https://ewbuilt.com/ and any quote, consultation or custom woodworking project we undertake for you. By using this website, submitting a form, booking a consultation or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

What we do

We design and build custom wood furniture and architectural pieces, including live edge tables, epoxy river tables, dining and coffee tables, conference tables and related work, for clients in Washington State. Scope, materials, dimensions, finish, price and timeline for any project are set out in a written quote or work order, which together with these terms forms the agreement for that project.

Consultations, quotes and estimates

Design consultations are free and carry no obligation. Any price discussed verbally or in a consultation is an estimate only. A quote becomes binding when issued in writing and accepted by you, and it remains valid for the period stated on it — typically 30 days.

Quotes are based on the material, dimensions and finish described. If the wood available at time of build differs, or if you change the specification, the price may change. We will tell you before proceeding.

Deposits, payment and ownership

• A deposit is required before we order material or begin work. The amount is stated on your quote and is applied to the total.
• Deposits cover material and reserved shop time. Once material is purchased or work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.
• The balance is due before delivery or pickup unless a different schedule is written into your quote.
• Title to the finished piece passes to you when payment is received in full. Risk of loss passes on delivery or pickup.
• Late payments may delay delivery and may incur a late charge where permitted by Washington law.

Timelines

Build timelines given in a quote are good-faith estimates. Custom work depends on material availability, drying and curing times, weather, and the queue ahead of your project. We will keep you informed if a date moves. We are not liable for losses caused by a delay outside our reasonable control, including supplier delays, shipping, equipment failure, illness or events beyond our control.

The nature of custom wood

Every piece is made by hand from natural material. Grain, color, figure, mineral streaks, knots, checks and voids vary from board to board and from any sample or photograph you have seen. Slabs move with humidity, and small changes in surface, color and dimension over time are normal characteristics of solid wood, not defects.

Epoxy work has its own character: minor bubbles, tint variation and tool marks visible under raking light are inherent to the process. We will show you the actual slab and discuss its character before the build begins wherever possible.

Changes and cancellation

Changes requested after a quote is accepted must be agreed in writing and may affect price and timeline. If you cancel after work has begun, you remain responsible for material already purchased and labor already performed; any remaining deposit balance may be refunded at our discretion. We may cancel a project and refund amounts not yet spent if the work turns out not to be feasible as specified.

Delivery and installation

Delivery within Washington State is quoted per project. You are responsible for making sure the piece can reach its destination: doorways, stairwells, elevators and turns must accommodate it, and the space must be clear and accessible on the agreed date. If delivery cannot be completed because access was not as described, a redelivery charge may apply. Inspect your piece on delivery and tell us about any damage the same day.

Care and warranty

We warrant our workmanship against defects in construction for one year from delivery. If a joint fails or a finish defect appears under normal indoor use, we will repair or, at our option, remake the affected part at no charge.

The warranty does not cover natural movement of wood, seasonal checking, damage from heat, standing water, direct sunlight, humidity extremes, abuse, accidents, alteration by others, or failure to follow the care instructions supplied with your piece. Pieces used outdoors or in unconditioned spaces are not covered.

Photographs and intellectual property

We photograph our work and may use images of completed pieces on our website, social media and marketing materials. Photographs never include your name, address or identifying details of your home unless you agree in writing. Tell us before delivery if you would prefer we not photograph your piece.

Designs, drawings, renderings, photographs, text and the contents of this website remain our property. You may not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Communications and SMS terms

By giving us your contact details you agree that we may contact you by phone and email about your inquiry, quote, project and appointments. We send text messages only to people who have opted in.

Age restriction (18+). You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to and receive SMS messages from Ev'rything Woodworks LLC.

How you opt in. SMS consent is collected only through the optional, unchecked checkboxes on the quote request form at https://ewbuilt.com/#eww-inquiry. Providing a phone number or submitting the form does not by itself create SMS consent. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase.

• Transactional messages: consultation confirmations, appointment reminders, quotes, project updates and delivery scheduling from Ev'rything Woodworks LLC. Message frequency varies.
• Promotional messages: if you separately opt in, up to 2 messages per month about new pieces, build availability and special offers.

Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may receive one final message confirming your request, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [email protected] or 253-988-5841.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell, rent or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Use of this website

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Except for the workmanship warranty stated above, our services and this website are provided as is, without other warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any project or your use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of use.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please contact us directly — most issues are resolved with a phone call.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. Changes do not affect projects already under an accepted quote, which remain governed by the terms in effect when that quote was accepted.
